The title refers to the 15th century painter Fra Angelico ("brother angel" in Italian). The accompanying image image is a detail of his fresco "Noli me Tangere". In the song there is a reference to another artist's work: a painting of a table in a meadow by David Tindle.

I had been working on this song for a while, but only after Thomas Clement (husband of my friend and art colleague Wonsook Kim) gave me his bouzouki did this song come together.
