This song is related to the accompanying painting which, like the song, is a meditation on the life and death of my father Merrill Grubbs.

Most of this track was from the initial recording sessions made by Daniel Bracken Jr. in the sanctuary of Berry UMC in Chicago. I am greatly indebted to Danny and Matthew for that launch of the work on this album.
